Short version: Video Compressor works entirely on your device. Your videos are compressed locally and are never uploaded. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect any of your data.
Nothing. Video Compressor does not collect, transmit, or receive any personal data. It has no login and no account, and it makes no network connection to us to do its job — compression runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device video frameworks.
The following is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere:
The videos you compress, and the compressed results, are handled as files on your device. If you delete the app, its settings are removed from your device.
The app asks for Photos permission for two things only, and only when you initiate them:
The app does not scan, read, catalog, or upload your photo library. It only touches the specific video you choose and the file you ask it to save. Nothing about your library is sent to us.
Video Compressor does not collect:
We do not use any third-party SDKs for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
The first three compressions are free. After that, the app offers a one-time Lifetime unlock (a non-consumable in-app purchase) through the Apple App Store. We do not receive your payment information — Apple handles all billing. We only receive a confirmation from Apple that you are entitled to the paid features. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
The app can share a compressed video using the standard iOS share sheet. This happens only when you tap the share button, and the video is sent to the destination you choose (for example, a messaging app, AirDrop, or your photo library). We are not involved in and do not receive that content.
Because the app collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. Any data the app stores lives only on your device and can be removed by deleting the app. If you have any questions, contact us at kamil@kumu-studio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
The app is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
If we change this policy, we will update the Effective date above and post the new version at this URL.
