Nothing about you. Fastbook is a speed-reading app built to be private by design. It has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email, phone, or any personal identifier. We do not run servers that receive your reading data, and we do not use any third-party SDKs for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
The following is stored only on your device (in iOS UserDefaults and the app's local files) and is never transmitted to us:
If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device. If you enable iCloud device backup, Apple may include this data in your encrypted backup under Apple's own privacy terms — it is never sent to us.
When you search for or download a book from a public catalog inside Fastbook, your device connects directly to that third-party service. This happens only when you choose to search or download. Catalogs include:
Those services receive standard request information (such as your IP address and the title you requested) and handle it under their own privacy policies. Fastbook does not proxy, log, or receive any of this — the connection is between your device and the catalog.
Fastbook offers auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase through the Apple App Store. We do not receive your payment information — Apple handles all billing. We only receive a confirmation from Apple that you are entitled to the paid content. Apple's handling of that information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Fastbook does not collect:
Because Fastbook does not collect or store personal data on our side, there is no personal profile for us to access, export, or delete. If you have any question about your data, contact kamil@kumu-studio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Fastbook is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we change this policy, we will update the Effective date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be reflected in a new app release.
